Mr.Vitense is a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in both inpatient and out patient settings. He works with individuals, couples, and families to develop effective communication and enriched relationships. Special interest areas are men’s issues, adolescent male development, special needs children and at risk youth. He has been a foster parent himself. Mr. Vitense utilizes a strength based, solution focused philosophy with an emphasis on trauma resolution and integration. His post graduate training includes extensive education in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), NMT (The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics), as well as Jungian depth psychology. He has worked with child welfare agency teams, developed programs in experiential therapy and designed plans for character education. He is also available for clinical supervision and agency consultation.
