Karen A. Jick, MSSW, ACSW, LCSW

Ms. Jick is a licensed clinical social worker with more than twenty years of experience providing psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Her areas of focus include family therapy, couples counseling, childhood and adult mental health, adoption, post-traumatic stress reaction, crime victims and counseling for the families of both crime victims and perpetrators. She teaches social work courses on family therapy, counseling, and child welfare and has conducted more than thirty workshops on professional ethics.

Ms. Jick’s professional experience also includes supervision, consultation, curriculum development & training and agency administration. She is a former president of the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers and was selected statewide Distinguished Social Worker of the Year for 2003.
